http://iammommahearmeroar.blogspot.com/2011/08/how-to-paint-your-cabinets.html
Honestly I am posting this because I need to paint my kitchen cabinets and I don't have time now to read how she did it! This way I can come back to her idea when I get a moment without a screaming kid! HAHA!! (Like that ever happens!) ;)

wubbanubb
After Gianna was born I said the Wubbanubb was a must have item, I still feel the same way! Glenn loves his stuff animal binkies!
OUT COLD!
Aw so sweet!
hanging art work
Gianna finger painted a while ago and we hung it on the sliding door outside. As you can see we also finger painted the window!
Glenn loves to stare at his big sisters handy work! He can't wait to jump in!
I just used tape to stick it to the window. I will take it down after awhile!
Gianna's bathroom chart
I made this poster for Gianna, it has a chart of potty training and brushing your teeth! She is responsible for marking on the charts when she completes one of the requirements.
Sorry I can't figure out how to rotate the pictures! I added Elmo to the poster because Gianna LOVES him! As she walks by to go to bed she tells him "night night"! HAHA! LOVE HER!
The pink page I posted about a few days ago about how to make yourself beautiful. It is way over Gianna's head but I love what it says. I kind of put this part on there for me! ;)
The potty chart has a column for saying you need to go potty, pulling your pants down by yourself, sitting on the potty, and using the potty.
This section is about brushing your teeth. I put this on her poster because I needed a reminder to brush her teeth. I would remember to have her do it after she was already in bed! Not okay so this is for everyone! The chart has to spot for each day. One for the morning and one for the evening. The page on the right has directions on how to brush your teeth the right way!
I put the charts in plastic page protectors so she can choose the color of dry erase crayons to color in the correct spot! FUN!
Here it is hanging on the bathroom door. I have it on the outside of the door so we can see it all the time and talk about it! It is hung low so Gianna can reach it!
homemade playdoh
"LOOK AT THIS!"
This recipe Gianna can mix up herself in the bag, that is why I love it! I did not add food coloring because I did not want pink or blue carpet! ;)
She had so much fun playing! We made a lot of sneaky snakes! HEHE!
pics of paint
I posted a few days ago about the salt paint well here are the pictures of how it turned out!
Since it contains food coloring we did this project outside!
Plus, it was beautiful outside so why not enjoy it! Gianna was so excited to jump right in!
I gave her a few paint brushes of different sizes so she could experiment with all of them!
"what do you mean I am not suppose to paint my face?!?"
The salt sat in the bottom of the containers, I am not sure if it was suppose to dissolve or not. It never did for me. So Gianna resorted to using her hands! I never said this was a clean project! ;)
Gianna loves to get messy! It does not matter what we are playing with she get messy!
One of the masterpieces! The pink color did not turn out since she was mixing all the color anyways! All in all pretty cool, something different!
After she was done painting we jumped in the pool with some soap bubbles to was off the food coloring! Two birds with 1 stone, pool time = bath time when you use soap to make bubbles! HEHE!!
inkodye
I want to do this so badly! Look how cool this fabric dye is!!!

I halved the recipe and did not add food coloring. It was the right amount and Gianna loved it!!!!
Today I wanted to paint so here is the recipe for salt paint! I can't wait to see how it will turn out!

playdate invites
http://www.4shared.com/photo/9zyzxrjl/girly_playdate_invites.html
I love these! I printed them out and plan on sending them to some girlfriends so we can chat! Isn't that what playdates are about! I am also thinking about printing them out on cardstock and handing them out to other mom's, kind of like business cards. Isn't my kids my business now?!?! I think I would change the wording to the kids name, my name and how they can contact me. I will post when I create it! FUN!

This will be placed on the bathroom door so we can all see it!! I will post pictures as soon as I get it done!

sink reachable for little ones
this is not the prettiest thing in my house but it works. Gianna could not reach the water and I saw something that claimed to help in catalog for about $15 and I thought I could make something similar. This is what I came up with. I used a milk carton and duct tape.
With the water turned on
She can reach it and wash her hands with out me holding her!
This has to be more comfortable than resting her tummy on the side of the sink!
She can brush her teeth over the sink!
Reaching the water with her brush! YAY!
Washing her hands by herself! Now I am still the one that turns the water on and off but other than that it is all Gianna!! Yes she has no diaper on. I can't keep it on her! We have tried just about everything! Grrr! ;)
clock

This is a great clock printable. Good for when your child is old enough to start telling time but I think I am going to use it when I write up Gianna's schedule for the day. It is never to early to expose her to clocks!! Love this!

I really like this! As a teacher some notes from parents were hard to figure out! This would make it so easy for the teacher and a lot faster for the parents!!! Plus, it is cute!

BUBBLES
Today we filled up Gianna's swimming pool in the backyard (yes I know it is mid august, this summer has been busy!) Gianna really wanted to add bubbles to the water and I am so glad she did! It was so much fun!!!
OBLECK
This morning we made Obleck!! It is 1 1/2 cups cornstarch and 1 cup water. If you have never played with Obleck it is a solid and a liquid! Very cool. I have also done this activity before with the main focus being mixing colors (with preschool age). Today we were just feeling the texture and enjoying it!!!!
1 1/2 cups cornstarch 1 cup water. You can also add food coloring if you wish. We did not.
Gianna helped pour and mix the ingredients
Mixing it up! It feels so "cool" (Giana kept saying that!)
The dogs spilt it so then we played in the Obleck with our feet!
Pouring it then feeling it as a solid. This stuff is amazing!
